The purpose of this study is to explore some of the results of previous studies that show a positive relationship between training and employee competency improvement. The main question of this study is whether attitudes can be built through training? This study was conducted by looking for the meaning and finding important information about the competencies expected from a training activity. By drawing on the existing literature, not only topic under consideration is theorize, but also formulates and discusses the proposition that will help illuminate and discuss some ways for the firms to understand the effect of training on employees performance which include knowledge, skills and attitudes. The results of the study showed that temporary training in relation to improving attitude competencies was not the same with the same concept through an educational process that had a longer duration. So, the KSA conception in relation to training, "A" is not representing attitude, but abilities

Women Entrepreneurs Serta Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhinya (Kasus pada Pengrajin Sulaman Wanita di Jorong Lundang Kanagarian Panampuang Kab. Agam)

This study aims to identify the factors that encourage and inhibit embroidered ladies tailor in Jorong Lundang Kanagarian Panampuang to entrepreneurship, both internal factors and external factors. This study is an exploratory study that uses confirmatory factor analysis method. The population in this study is all tailor embroidery woman in Jorong Lundang Kanagarian Panampuang totaling 50 people. The data was collected using a questionnaire. The results of this study show that the internal factors that encourage respondents to entrepreneurship are personal values that are in him. External factors are factors of family support. Factors which encourage more women artisans to entrepreneurship is a factor that comes from within rather than from external factors. Meanwhile, for women artisans obstacle to entrepreneurship is a feminine factor

Strategi Belajar Mengajar dengan Metode Thinks Pair Share untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Bahasa Indonesia pada Siswa Kelas III SD Negeri 23 Dabatan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017

Berhasilnya tujuan pembelajaran ditentukan oleh banyak faktor diantaranya adalah faktor guru dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar, karena guru secara langsung dapat mempengaruhi, membina dan meningkatkan kecerdasan serta keterampilan siswa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas dan guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara maksimal, peran guru sangat penting dan diharapkan guru memiliki cara/model mengajar yang baik dan mampu memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai dengan konsep-konsep mata pelajaran yang akan disampaikan. Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan ini adalah: (a) Ingin mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran thinks pair share. (b) Ingin mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya metode pembelajaran thinks pair share. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak tiga putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan refisi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas tiga. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif dan lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari hasil analis didapatkan bahwa prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu, siklus I (68,18%), siklus II (77,27%), siklus III (86,36%).&nbsp

Pemanfaatan Laman Resmi Sebagai Media Pengungkapan Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan/csr Pada Perusahaan Di Indonesia

Mengingat perkembangan penggunaan internet di kalangan masyarakat yang makin meningkat maka pemanfaatan laman sebagai media pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial/CSR oleh Perusahaan menjadi semakin menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah Perusahaan telah memanfaatkan laman resminya untuk mengungkapkan program CSR yang dilakukan dan tingkat interaktivitas informasi tersebut. Dengan menggunakan alat yang didisain oleh Capriotti dan Moreno (2007) penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap laman resmi Perusahaan yang masuk ke dalam Indeks Bisnis-27 yang dikeluarkan oleh PT Bursa Efek Indonesia dan harian Bisnis Indonesia sektor industri dasar dan kimia pada Februari 2009. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laman resmi Semen Gresik dan Indocement telah mengungkapkan isu terkait CSR kecuali tentang etika Perusahaan. Laman resmi Semen Gresik dan Indocement ini menempatkan isu CSR pada hirarki yang tinggi tetapi mempunyai tingkat interaktivitas yang rendah, karena hanya menggunakan sumber ekspositif yang satu arah dan tidak menyediakan sarana umpan Balik yang memadai

It can be realized if both of them located nearby or in the same industrial estate. The main problems are barrier to entry and the difficulty to fulfill the standard. There is barrier to entry for SME to become partner of big scale industries and to move into industrial estate since more expensive cost to operate in there. This paper assessed SME's possibility to move into industrial estate and also how to optimize the outsourcing area in industrial estate, using SWOT, location theory, BCR, and policy analysis.
